Matcha Mango Smoothie with Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • ● 2 tbsp (about 15 grams) matcha
  • ● 1 cup (about 230 ml) almond milk
  • ● 1 mango (250 to 300 grams) sliced
  • ● 3 handfuls ice
  • ● 1 frozen banana

Cooking steps

Step 1

Peel the mango and banana and cut them into medium-sized pieces (the size of the pieces is not critical, just make sure your blender can handle the job). You may add any other fruits that are to your taste, however, this combination results in a creamy texture. Put the sliced fruit into the blender container.

Step 2

Add cold almond milk and matcha to the blender container. Add 2 handfuls of ice. Mix everything using turbo mode until it is creamy and smooth. If you are not sure that your blender has enough power to grind all the ice, you can add one handful at the end after you pour the finished smoothie into a glass.

Step 3

Save the smoothie for a moment to ensure that any froth that may have formed in the blender has gone. The finished smoothie should then be poured into a glass along with some ice. It will provide enough nourishment to replace the value of a full breakfast should you drink it as a meal replacement. Fruit smoothies like this will, however, also go well with pastries or serve as dessert following a light salad.
